We understand, but some days we just long for the pump. And you know what? There’s no shame in that.

Equipment Required: Dumbbell, Bench

Steps:

  • Stand or sit holding a dumbbell in one hand with your arm extended upward.
  • Inhale and bend your elbow to lower the dumbbell behind your neck.
  • Return to the starting position, exhaling as you complete the movement.

The triceps brachii is a large, thick muscle on the dorsal part of the upper arm. It often appears as the shape of a horseshoe on the posterior aspect of the arm. The main function of the triceps is the extension of the elbow joint.
